Each Cat-e-Corner is a one-of-a-kind piece, meticulously crafted from sustainably sourced solid wood. We do not use particle or chipboard, nor veneer or laminate. Real wood is unique and may have knots, minor flaws, and color variations that are normal and add to the charm of quality wood furniture.
Do I need a riser?
The base Cat-e-Corner height is 22.5" tall. The optional risers (2" and 4") will fit on either the left or right versions and change the height to 24.5" or 26.5" (note: they do not stack, only 1 will fit)

I am so happy with my purchase of the Cat-e-corner. This is a beautiful piece of furniture and far exceeded my expectations! It was so easy to assemble, fits perfectly in with my decor, and my cats absolutely love it!
The Cat-e-corner allows my cats to scratch the corner of my couch (one of their favorite spots) without damaging it and I have a new convenient, slim table top to keep a beverage and/or some reading materials. Everyone wins!
Really love my Cat e Corner. I purchased this while it was on kickstarter along with a 4” riser (I didn’t end up using it).
My cats were destroying the side of my couch and not only is this saving my Joybird, but it’s also aesthetic and I love having a space for notebooks and drinks while on that part of the couch!
I’ll eventually buy a second one once I get a small couch in my office which doubles as the foster kitten space.
The only slight downside was that it got slightly damaged in shipping and some of the wood that was pre attached separated. Not knocking any stars because I was able to gently hammer it back together with a rubber mallet I have and was able to then put everything together.
Overall highly recommend and their customer service is great!
Much heavier than expected but not a bad thing. You can tell its sturdy and well made. Was well packed so nothing was damaged when it arrived. Not too hard to build by myself and the cats instantly went to scratch on it after i finished.
This sleek, sturdy piece is a favorite of mine and my cats. Its space-saving design allows a place for soda-side beverages, remotes, phone, etc., and plenty of space to sharpen claws safely. I'm not sure why it took until 2024 for someone to develop this item, but I'm sure glad they did. The piece tucks into the side of my couch, so it isn't bulky. I'm loving that once it wears out, I can replace the sisal (?) scratching area with a new Velcro-d one. Easy as pie.

Yes! We use velcro to keep the mats in place, and when you’re ready for a fresh look, simply pull one off and replace it with a new mat. You can shop our latest mat designs here.
Our 13-15 lb test pilots love using the Cat-e-Corner, and we’ve never had a drink spill while they are using it.
Measure from the floor to the top of your sofa arm.
If your measurement is:
- 22.5”-25” (57 - 63.5 cm) - no riser
- 25”-27” (63.5 - 68.5cm) - add a 2” riser
- 27” + (68.5+ cm) - add a 4” riser
